About Me

Emily Sneeden, Age 19, So far my birthday's been on Friday the 13th three times in my life, including 2004 when Hurricane Charley hit my hometown, same place I've lived my whole life, Cape Coral, FL. In elementary school I was into tennis, dance, theatre and music, dropped off to just music and theatre in middle school, dropped down to just music freshman year and then dropped all performing arts entirely in order to pursue visual arts in my photography class junior and senior year of high school. I'm definitely what some may title a nerd, enjoying school way too much. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 5.2 GPA and an International Baccalaureate Diploma from Fort Myers High School. My courses were HL English, HL Photography, HL Biology, SL French, SL Math Methods, and SL Economics. I intended on doing pre-med all throughout high school, and then switched to an English major during Preview at UF, and then switched again to Creative Photography during the summer before my freshman year of college. I have now switched to Graphic Design (fingers crossed that I get in) and I still intend to double major in English, with an emphasis on Creative Writing. I love the University of Florida and definitely love Gator Football! I love summer Florida weather, white hot cocoa, small dogs, and trashy TV shows. And I think I usually exemplify all traits of a Leo in astrology, though some just blame that on chance and coincidence. I hope to build up my knowledge of web design, video editing, and type this semester. We'll see how it goes!
